How it Works
Your adventure begins at the campground. Park across from the office and then come in, pay for your tubes, kayaks, cooler tubes, ice etc. Then head over to the tube shed with your tickets, get your tube and you walk right down to the rivers edge and jump on in!
We're the start of the canyon area and your float will take you by some scenic bluffs. There are numerous beaches to stop at. If you are floating straight thru, normal time is 2 hours for the float and add a half hour to get loaded and get back here to the campground. Most people stay on the water a good 3 to 4 hours and then enjoy the wagon ride back up the bluff, thru the fields and woods. Wash your feet off at the outdoor wash and stop to purchase ice cream at our store if you like. A great day with friends and family. We're open to the public and it is not necessary to camp here, although, it's certainly recommended.
Weekdays have discounted group rates of 10 or more, reservations starting at 10 am and ending at 2 pm weekdays and Sundays, ending at 3 pm Friday, Saturdays. Last pick-up time 5 pm weekdays and Sundays, 6 pm Fridays and Saturdays. Trips include a deluxe tube or kayak, life vests if needed, and your return trip back to the campground. Bring your own ropes, or purchase and keep our Riverview Ridge tethers for 2.50 ea. All minors must have a waiver signed by their parent, no exceptions. Own tube? Costs the same and you must reserve and register the same. Open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. We call it for weather and river levels otherwise cancellations require 2 day notice or you are charged the entire amount.
